Spitfire Audio has released LABS that has a collection of free VST plugins ranging from soft piano and strings with beautiful ambiance.
LABS now has it’s own plugin engine and you do not need Native Instruments to run it like it used to be. There are a lot of collections to choose from and it is easy to download. The simple look it has makes it much more user friendly.

The official website claims that the samples are made by professional musicians and it also shows in the free software that they provide. I personally love the plugin and have used it in a few songs that I recently sold it.
